2025 Kingswood-Oxford Invitational Tournament Player Profiles

The Kingswood-Oxford School is located in West Hartford, CT and it's The Paul W. “Frosty” Francis Kingswood Invitational Tournament, now in its 63rd year, is one of Kingswood-Oxford School’s most cherished traditions. The K.I.T. is one of the oldest continuously running prep school basketball tournaments in New England. The tournament was founded in 1963 by Paul “Frosty” Francis, former athletic director and boys basketball coach at the school. The tournament will feature eight boys teams and eight girls teams from independent schools across the region. As we profile below, the boys side of the event will feature a large number of college basketball prospects.

Jeremiah “JJ” Carter (2026) 6'4 wing - 2024-25 All Founders League, Second Team. Carter is an explosive, two-way wing with a 6’7 wingspan. Elite finisher at the rim and a strong midrange pull-up. Led the Founders League in scoring this year at 24.0 ppg. He was a 2024 All Long Island Selection and a member of Nassau Suffolk CHSAA Second Team. Nathaniel Howell (2026) 6'2 guard - Crafty and physical guard who can stretch the floor from 3 and effectively uses his size on drives. He's an unselfish player and competes relentlessly on the defensive side of the floor. He plays AAU for Select Hoops. 3.3 gpa  Video highlights    RTB profile

Seediya Jabbi (2026) 6’6 forward - Post-graduate forward with elite finishing, length, and shot-blocking. Excels on the defensive side of the floor, finishes above the rim, and runs the floor incredibly well. LHBCA All-Section and Academic Court of Excellence Award. Alexander "Sasha" Mermelstein (2026) 5’11 point guard - Coming back from injury and has gotten significantly stronger. A crafty and quick point guard who runs the show and can get hot from behind the arc. He is an unselfish playmaker and uses his quickness to get steals and deflections on defense. Miles Wurmfeld (2026) 6’1 guard (Committed to Occidental College in November) High-IQ, knockdown 3-point shooter who impacts winning on both ends of the floor. Finn Bootland (2027) 6'5 wing - Bootland is an elite shooter and dynamic slasher who sees the floor well and attacks the basket with purpose. Nick Lloyd (2027) 6’2 guard - Incoming true junior with serious upside as an unselfish and versatile combo guard. Proficient playmaker and gritty defender whose presence is felt on both sides of the ball. He plays AAU with 6th Boro Hoops. 3.6 gpa   Video highlights   RTB profile

Rowan Santos (2027) 6'3 wing - Santos had a break-out sophomore season in the Founders League. He has an extremely high motor, fills the stat sheet, and really developed into a playmaker over the past year. He can defend 1-4 and is a tenacious rebounder. All-Founders League Honorable Mention. DJ Biggins (2026) 6'1, 180lb, point guard (Boston College football commit) - All NEPSAC Class B as both a sophomore and a junior. 2024-25 All Founders League (the only non-senior selected). From Windsor, CT, Biggins is a dynamic scoring guard and vocal leader. He is the engine behind KO’s offense. With deep shooting range, the ability to finish through contact, and a fearless approach in crunch time, he consistently delivers big buckets. He excels in transition and is a reliable playmaker off the bounce. Defensively, he uses strength and anticipation to pressure the ball and create turnovers. 3.6 gpa 

Will Parkhouse (2026) 6'5, 195lb, wing - From Torrington, CT, Parkhouse is a high-IQ wing with great positional size and feel for the game. He is a knockdown shooter who stretches the floor and understands spacing. He moves well without the ball, reads the defense, and can handle secondary actions. With a college-ready frame and consistent work ethic, he’s one of KO’s most efficient scorers and a trusted decision-maker. Take great pride in his work ethic. Stryckland Whittley-Ligon (2026) 6'5, 210lb, wing - From Avon, CT, Whittley-Ligon is a long, athletic wing with two-way impact. He thrives in transition and as a slasher in half-court sets. He’s an explosive finisher with a developing jumper and excels at defending multiple positions. His length and instincts make him disruptive on defense, and he’s capable of making hustle plays that energize teammates. Tyler Brown (2026) 6'1, 171lb, guard - From Ellington, CT Brown is a compact, athletic guard who pushes the pace in transition and sets the tone defensively. He is a high-motor player who thrives in up-tempo systems. He has the ability to knock down shots, attack closeouts, and guard the opposing team’s best perimeter player. Keenan Murphy (2027) 6'8, 211lb, forward - From Middletown, CT, Murphy is a long and mobile forward with significant upside. He protects the rim and runs the floor with purpose. He’s a shot-blocking presence inside who’s developing a touch around the basket and confidence stepping into mid-range shots. Defensively, he alters drives and anchors the paint with his length. Ernesto Ballesteros (2027) 6'5, 225lb, forward - From Wolcott, CT, Ballesteros is a strong-bodied forward who plays with physicality and grit. He provides toughness inside and doesn’t shy away from contact. He boxes out well, finishes through traffic, and is a key contributor on the glass. With developing footwork and hands, he’s a dependable interior presence who thrives on effort and energy.

Carl Parkhouse (2027) 6'2, 165lb, guard, Kingswood-Oxford School (CT) - Parkhouse is a smooth shooting guard with a great feel for spacing and timing, He is a reliable perimeter threat. He makes smart reads off the ball, doesn’t force shots, and competes defensively. Still developing physically, but his IQ and shooting touch are ahead of his age. 3.9 gpa

Xavier Newton (2027) 5'7, 165lb, point guard - From Newington, CT, what Newton lacks in height, he makes up for in speed, heart, and floor vision. A blur in the open court, he gets downhill quickly and makes sharp reads off ball screens. He’s also a pest defensively, often picking up full court and forcing turnovers. Newton plays with swagger and energy, keeping the tempo high and the defense honest.

Matt Lysik (2027) 6'6, 200lb, small forward - From Manchester, CT, Lysik is a new addition to the K-O program with great size and intriguing tools. Lysik has soft touch around the rim and is a Knockdown Shooter. Defensively, he uses his length to contest shots and hold his own in the paint. Runs the lanes well and plays physical inside and out. Plays AAU with CT Takeover 4.0 gpa 

Michael Waters (2027) 6'3, 184lb, guard - From Middletown, CT, Waters brings length and athleticism to the perimeter. A versatile guard who can defend multiple spots, get downhill, and make plays for others. A two sport athlete (football) who can attack the rim or step out and shoot from deep. Isley Biggins (2028) 5'11, 190lb, guard - From Windsor, CT, Biggins brings tenacity and toughness to the backcourt. He excels in scrappy situations, dives for loose balls, and defends with intensity. Offensively, he’s improving as a finisher and ball-handler, showing flashes of confident playmaking. A high-character player with strong work ethic. Plays AAU with CT Elite.

Chance Markovitz (2028) 6'2, 155lb, guard - From Colchester, CT, Markowitz is an active wing who uses his length well on defense and rebounds with effort. Offensively, he’s developing confidence driving to the basket and knocking down short jumpers. Still growing into his frame but already shows maturity in his approach to the game. Plays AAU with BABC.

AJ Rosa (2029) 6'0, 150lb, small forward - From Newington, CT, Rosa is a young but promising guard with a scorer’s mindset. He can shoot off the catch and off the bounce, and he has shown flashes of playmaking. He’s working on tightening his handle and defensive consistency but shows good instincts.

Brett Carter (2026) 6’11,175 lb, forward - A New Jersey native, Carter is a versatile (lefty) forward who can play multiple positions. He can impact the game on both ends of the floor as he is a strong rebounder and elite shot blocker. He uses his length to protect the rim and alter shots. What makes him special is able to switch defensively onto guards. He is just scratching the surface of how good he could be. Offensively, he has soft touch around the basket, can finish in transition, and is capable of stretching the floor as a shooter. He is a threat in the pick and roll/pick and pop sets. His size, mobility, athleticism and versatility makes him a matchup problem and a prospect that D1 and D2 coaches should be following. Myles Dickerson (2026) 6’3, 193 lb, guard - Dickerson is a versatile guard who checks a lot of boxes for the next level. With a strong frame, he can defend multiple positions on the perimeter and hold his own physically. Offensively, he’s a true three-level scorer — able to get downhill with power, knock down shots from the midrange, and stretch the floor from deep. He plays with a high IQ, consistently making the right reads, sharing the ball, and staying unselfish within the flow of the offense. Abdul Evans (2026) 6’0 170 lb, point guard - A left handed point guard from Rhode Island who can score, create, and defend at a high level. He brings versatility to the floor with his ability to shoot, pass, and handle the ball confidently under pressure. He prides himself on being a floor general who can run an offense, set up teammates, and also step up to score when needed. Evans has a reliable jump shot with range, plays with intensity, and impacts the game on both ends of the floor. Loaded with skill, toughness, and high basketball IQ. Evans is an under the radar and under recruited guard who will turn a lot of heads in the NEPSAC. He would like to study business while in college. Trenton Frasier (2026) 6’4, 195 lb, guard - A big strong guard from Connecticut who shoots the ball well and rebounds on both sides of the ball. A solid and capable defender who makes plays off of the ball. Frazier is always moving without the ball and setting screens to free up teammates. He also uses screens well whether it’s to get a shot or just get himself going down hill to make plays. A phenomenal student who wants to study business marketing in college. Currently being recruited by high academic schools at all levels.

Adam Jefferies (2026) 5’10, 170 lb, point guard - Jefferies is an athletic, fast, and high-IQ point guard who controls the pace of the game with poise and maturity beyond his years. Offensively, he excels at getting to his spots in the mid-range where he is a consistent scorer, while also stretching the floor with reliable three-point shooting. His change of pace keeps defenders guessing, allowing him to create separation and open up opportunities for both himself and his teammates. Defensively, Jefferies brings a gritty, aggressive mentality. He is a tough on-ball defender who takes pride in pressuring opposing guards and disrupting offensive rhythm. His combination of speed, strength, and relentless energy makes him a true competitor every possession. He is being recruited by a variety of schools from all different levels. He has aspirations to study computer engineering. AAU Team: Rising Stars-MHC.   3.1 gpa

Jayden Johnson (2026) 6’3, 170 lb, guard - A quick and crafty guard from Massachusetts who uses his shiftiness and feel for the game to break down defenders. He can score in a variety of ways, whether it’s knocking down jumpers, getting to the rim, or creating space for mid-range shots. His unselfish approach allows him to make the right reads and get his teammates involved consistently. Jayden can find others with his unselfish playmaking ability. He has a good handle and basketball IQ that allows him to play on the ball without making unforced errors or turnovers. Defensively, he takes pride in locking in on his assignment and making plays on both ends of the floor. Currently being recruited by LM D1/D2 schools. AAU Team: Above the Rim-Puma. 2.8 gpa

Seann Katubi (2026) l 6’3, 185 lb, guard - A strong guard from Massachusetts who excels with his playmaking ability and facilitating. He can play all of the guard spots as he gets down hills, makes tough midrange shots and handles pressure. He is a “swiss army knife” on the floor as he just does a little bit of everything and fills the stat sheet. Seann can guard multiple positions on the defensive end and is a vocal leader on our team. He has the ability to be a great on ball and help side defender and he rebounds extremely well for his size making him a vital piece of NYMA’s success. Currently being recruited by D2/D3 schools and wants to get into the medical field when he leaves the academy. AAU Team: Above the Rim-Puma. 3.2 gpa

Anthony Mann (2026) 7’3, 200 lbs, center - Possibly one of the tallest players in NY since Patrick Ewing. He has a 7’7 wing span, Mann is an improving and intriguing prospect for NYMA. While he still needs to develop his strength and finishing around the basket, he flashes potential with his shot blocking and shooting mechanics. He is a center that has the ability to put the ball on the floor. He is able to block and alter shots due to his size and length. Has the ability to throw down powerful dunks, hit hook shots and make midrange jumpers. Mann is interested in studying computer science, communications and criminal justice while in college. Currently being recruited by D2/D3 schools but Anthony’s size alone should draw interest from some LM D1 schools. AAU Team: New York Lighting-HGSL. 2.8 gpa

Cheyton Marshall (2026) 6’5, 170 lb, wing - A long and athletic wing with a 6’8” wingspan that can play multiple positions where it’s in the perimeter or an undersized mismatch 4. He likes to push the tempo in transition and create opportunities for himself and his teammates. An old school style where he will get in his triple threat position to rip and attack using the glass from all angles to score. Marshall is very strong when getting down hill and can finish above the rim. He has a reliable midrange game and works his tail off everyday to get better. Marshall gives 110% when on the floor and can switch on guards or defend bigs while rebounding and altering shots. He would like to study urban planning and exercise science while in college. Currently being recruited by high academics D3 schools. AAU Team: Above the Rim-Puma. 3.6 gpa

Eamon Meehan (2026) 6’4, 185 lb, wing - A hungry prospect from New York who missed most of last year with a foot injury. Healing up and working hard every day. This 3 and D Wing is excellent off the catch and shoot but can also put it on the floor and make plays. He has good size and a great motor which should go a long way in helping coaches see his value and worth. He will be a true weapon for the Knights this year and his recruitment should really pick up. Meehan wants to study Kinesiology and Physical Therapy while in college. AAU team: CM3 Elite-MHC. 3.4 gpa

Jaden Milord (2026) l 6’6, 205 lb forward - A big strong forward who uses his athleticism to rebound, defend and block shots. Milord has the ability to do multiple things on the offense end. Whether he’s playing above the rim, getting down hill or hitting jump shots and spreading the floor. He wants to study Kinesiology and Physical Therapy while in college. Currently being recruited by D2/D3 schools. AAU Team: Cap City Scrappers-Puma. 3.2 gpa 

James Moody (2026) l 6’7, 210 lb, forward - A strong athlete from New Jersey who really attacks the glass is hard in going after every rebound and uses good box out mechanics and instincts. He protects the rim and can guard the perimeter if needed. He finishes well around the rim and can knock down mid-range or three point jump shots. Moody brings a good attitude and energy everyday which makes him an effective force and leader for his squad. He wants to study Kinesiology and Physical Therapy while in college. Currently being recruited by D2/D3 schools. AAU Team: NJ Hilltoppers-adidas. 2.3 gpa

Jakob Reyes (2026) 6’3, 160 lb, guard - A confident guard from Rhode Island who gets to his spots on offense. Reyes is a very good shooter that has a consistent midrange game and can extend to the three point line where he shoots a high percentage. Defensively, he doesn’t back down and is willing to matchup against anyone. He accredits his discipline to his defensive presence and wants to continue to improve in that area. He wants to study broadcasting, psychology and business when he gets to college. Currently being recruited by D2/D3 schools. AAU Team: Basketball Club of Rhode Island. 3.0 gpa

Andre Singleton (2026) 6’8, 220 lb, forward - Singleton is a versatile wing/center from New Jersey with the ability to stretch the floor. He is strong and powerful which allows him to carve out space in the paint and play above the rim. He uses his size, instincts and athleticism to rebound at a high clip, on both ends of the floor. He loves to create second chance opportunities. These same attributes carry over to the defensive side of the floor where combined with his length and mobility he can matchup and guard multiple positions. He wants to study journalism and broadcasting when he gets to college. Currently being recruited by D2/D3 schools. AAU Team: NJ Force-MHC. 2.8 gpa

Bryce Watkins (2026) 6’1, 170 lb, guard - A scrappy competitor from New Jersey who provides three level scoring. A ball hawking defender who gets a lot of deflections and steals. Offensively Watkins does a good job making both threes and midrange shots as well finishing with either hand in the paint and around the rim. Currently being recruited by D2/D3 schools. Has aspirations of studying business marketing and attending an HBCU when leaving the academy. AAU Team: Prestige- Puma. 3.0 gpa

Nymeer Dozier (2027) 6’1, 215 lb guard - A big strong lefty who loves to get downhill and has earned the nickname “the Bull Dozier”. He has the ability to hit shots from all levels. He is a solid point guard who is in the process of figuring out how strong he is. Nymeer or “Nightmare”, which is another nickname he has picked up due to him being a matchup problem for many guards. He is a strong rebounder and defender who can guard multiple positions. He brings a strong presence and he is very vocal with his teammates. Although he is the youngest member of the team he shows tremendous leadership ability and brings great energy and a positive attitude everyday. Nymeer will draw interest from schools of all levels as his recruitment picks up. He wants to study sports management in college. AAU Team: Cap City Scrappers-Puma. 3.5 gpa

Ethan Griffin (2026) 6'9 small forward - (Committed to Alcorn State) Griffin is described by his coach as being a Dennis Rodman type impact player. He is long, athletic and plays with a very high motor. He attacks the hoop very well, finishes through contact and is good for multiple dunks in each game. He is a lockdown defender, rim protector and blocks a lot of shots. He has received multiple D1 offers, including Fairfield, Alcorn State and Norfolk State. Plays AAU with Riverside Hawks. Baron “Sonny” Batchelor (2027) 6’5 small forward - Batchelor is a versatile weapon. He sees the floor and exploits the defense where its vulnerable as both a score and a passer. He plays clinic level defense, in a stance, with his hands up and communicating to his teammates. Julien Wiggins (2027) 6'0 point guard - 2024-25 NY Sports Writers Class AA All State First Team. 2024-25 Catholic High School Athletic Association (New York City) MVP. Wiggins is a floor general. He leads his team with poise and makes big plays when it matters most. Offered by Caldwell University and D’youville University, Wiggins Is also receiving interest from Troy, UC San Diego and Colorado State. Plays AAU with NY Rens - Shapiro. Elliot Goldberg (2028) 6'4 guard - Goldberg is a versatile guard that excels as both a shooter and a ball handler. With the ability to create off the dribble and knock down shots consistently, he’s a dual threat on offense.
