Winston Salem Christian School Prep (NC) 2026-27 Player Profiles

Founded in 1979, Winston Salem Christian School (WSCS) is a private, independent, non-denominational Christian school located in Winston Salem, NC. It serves roughly 400 students, ages 3 through 12th grade and a post-graduate year. They host boarding students and have an international program.

WSCS runs two college basketball prep teams, the National team and the Prep team. Its college placement pipeline has moved players to DI programs including VCU, Bowling Green, Pacific, Jacksonville State, Georgia Southern, Southeastern Louisiana, Lamar, Stonehill, Northern Illinois, Queens, and Delaware State, with substantial additional placement at the D2, NAIA, and junior college levels. The WSCS National team is comprised of high level high school players and competes on the Grind Session elite high school circuit. The Prep Team is primarily meant for post graduates, and it competes in the Elite Prep League and plays other high level prep teams outside of that conference play.

Before Moravian, Lowe was head basketball coach at Westridge Prep School (NC) for 2015 -18. He began coaching early in his life and has spent his entire tenure in the North Carolina prep and post-graduate ranks.

Honeycutt came to Winston Salem Christian from the University of North Carolina, where he spent two seasons as an assistant coach with the Tar Heels' junior varsity program beginning in 2018, working under Roy Williams and Hubert Davis. He has run the post-graduate program with an explicit college-placement mandate, publishing individual player profiles for college coaches, scouting services, and media each fall.  His first priority is ensuring every player on the roster finds the appropriate level after the post-grad year.  Below we profile his 2026-27 Prep team players.
