West Nottingham Academy 2026-27 Player Profiles
West Nottingham Academy (WNA) is an independent, coeducational school serving boarding and day students in grades 9 through post-graduate. It was founded in 1744 by the Presbyterian preacher Samuel Finley, who later became President of the College of New Jersey - the predecessor of Princeton University - making WNA the oldest boarding school in the nation. The 124-acre tree-lined campus sits in Colora, MD near the Chesapeake Bay, an hour south of Philadelphia and 45 minutes north of Baltimore. The school enrolls roughly 90 students and operates at a 5:1 student-teacher ratio across more than 120 courses.
The Rams basketball team is a college basketball feeder program. The team competes against high-level, college-bound talent, and this season will play in the highly competitive Elite Prep League. The program carried a National Top 100 prep computer ranking in 2025-26.
Kirsty Leedham serves as both Director of Athletics and Head National Boys Basketball Coach — one of the very few women leading a nationally ranked boys prep basketball program in the country. She joined WNA in 2022-23 after four years at Marianapolis Preparatory School (CT), where she was the girls varsity basketball coach. Before that she was an assistant coach for D1 women's basketball at Binghamton University.
Leedham played collegiately at NCAA D2 Caldwell College, earning first-team All-Conference honors twice and all-region once. A Great Britain national, she represented her country at the 2008 European Championships in Lithuania. Having attended boarding school herself as an international student, she brings that perspective to a roster that draws globally. She has coached more than 30 players on to NCAA basketball at all three divisions.

#0 Parris Lee (2027) 6’5 guard - From Baltimore, MD, a dynamic player coming off an exciting summer with the Rams averaging 18 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists, and 3.5 steals per game, and shooting 38% from beyond the arc, generating a lot of college interest. A legitimate scoring threat who can light it up from deep or attack downhill, and get to his spots. His activity, length, and competitiveness make an impact on both ends of the floor, especially defensively. #1 Brandon Vaughn (2027) 6’0 guard - From Bel Air, MD, A tough, skilled and competitive guard who brings value on both ends of the floor. A high-level perimeter shooter with the ability to knock down shots at a high clip, while also creating offense off the bounce with a smooth dribble pull up and reliable floater game. Vaughn is a relentless worker who competes every possession, refusing to give up- that partnered with his high IQ and versatility allow him to adapt to different styles of play, and contribute within any system.
#2 Ethan Sainsbury (2027) 5’9 point guard - From Baldwin, NY, A scrappy, high-motor floor general who impacts the game with his toughness, pace, and ability to create for himself and others. He plays with an attacking mentality and can score at all three levels, utilizing his lightning- fast speed to consistently put pressure on the defense. #3 Alessandro Scott 6’4 wing - From Greenwich, CT, a high-motor, athletic wing who brings toughness, versatility, and consistent energy on both ends of the floor. At 6’4”, he plays bigger than his size, using his explosiveness and physicality to attack the rim, finish through traffic, and thrive in transition. He’s a legitimate perimeter weapon with deep range, giving defenses little room for error as a catch-and-shoot threat from beyond the arc. Defensively, he competes with an aggressive mindset and has the athleticism and toughness to guard multiple positions. #5 Dylan Cudjoe (2027) 6’9 - From Baldwin, NY, a highly dynamic, and athletic two-way prospect who has successfully transitioned from a traditional high-post interior player into a fluid 6’9 wing/forward. After bouncing back completely from an early high school ACL injury, Cudjoe has showcased explosive verticality and elite defensive instincts. He is a high-motor player who thrives in the open floor and consistently impacts winning without needing set plays run for him. Some background; Cudjoe began his high school career at Baldwin High School and later transferred to Lawrence Woodmere Academy to play on their national team. #10 Justin Mompoint (2027) 6’1 guard - From Queens, NY , a dynamic three-level scorer with the ability to create offense from anywhere on the floor. Mompoint plays with a tight handle, quick first step, and impressive change of pace, allowing him to consistently get defenders off balance and create his own shot. He’s dangerous getting downhill, has a soft floater to score over length, and can punish defenses from beyond the arc with his ability to knock down multiple threes. More than just a shot-maker, Mompoint’s creativity and ability to operate in tight spaces make him a tough cover in the backcourt. #11 Cameron Serrano (2027) 6’3 guard - From Queens, NY, Serrano is a competitive, physical three-level scorer with a knack for making tough shots and impacting the game on both ends of the floor. He can create off the bounce, get downhill and finish through the contact, or stop on a dime for the pull-up. Off the ball, he is a reliable catch-and-shoot threat from three, making him dangerous in multiple offensive roles. Cam’s strength and athleticism allow him to play through contact, while his playmaking ability gives him the versatility to operate at either guard spot. Defensively, he is an underrated presence who embraces physical matchups, anticipates passing lanes, and can turn defense into transition opportunities. #13 George Andrews (2027) 6'5 guard - From Scarborough, United Kingdom, Andrews brings an intriguing combination of size, shooting ability, and feel for the game. A high-level perimeter shooter, he has the ability to stretch the floor and consistently punish defenses from beyond the arc. His size and physical frame also allow him to take advantage of smaller matchups, creating efficient scoring opportunities around the basket. What stands out beyond his scoring is his basketball IQ. He processes the game well, makes strong reads, and is a willing and capable passer who can create opportunities for teammates. His combination of positional size, shooting, decision-making, and versatility gives him the tools to impact the game in multiple ways from the guard position.
#12 Donte’ Cain (2028) 6’7 wing - From Philadelphia, PA, a versatile player with the ability to score at all three levels, create shots, attack the basket, and make plays. Brings length, and athleticism on both ends, with the ability to defend multiple positions and impact the game as a scorer, rebounder, and playmaker. 3.6 gpa
#14 Majus Afanasjev (2028) 6’7 swing- From Vilnius, Lithuania, a skilled Lithuanian sniper with proven production. Named District Offensive Player of the Year, 1st Team All-District, and 2nd Team All-State as a junior in Texas. A high-level perimeter shooter with guard skills who can create off the bounce and score efficiently at all three levels. His combination of size, shooting, and versatility makes him a dangerous offensive prospect.
#23 Luka Pochkhua (2028) 6’8, 22lb wing/forward - From Tbilisi, Georgia, Pochkhua already possesses an impressive combination of size, strength, and skill, but it’s his versatility that makes him such an intriguing long-term prospect. Pochkhua is a legitimate inside-out threat who can punish smaller defenders with his physicality around the basket while also stepping onto the perimeter and playing with the ball in his hands. He moves well for his size, can attack mismatches, and has the skill set to impact possessions without being limited to a traditional post role. His combination of strength and mobility allows him to create matchup problems against multiple types of defenders.Defensively, Pochkhua brings similar versatility. His 6’8”, 225-pound frame gives him the physicality to battle bigger players inside, while his mobility provides the potential to defend multiple positions and become a highly switchable piece at the next level.The upside here is significant. Pochkhua has the physical tools of a frontcourt player with the developing skill set of a modern positionless forward.
#25 Rapolas Jasiulionis (2028) 6’7 forward - From Vilnius, Lithuania, a high-upside Lithuanian frontcourt prospect making his Stateside debut at West Nottingham Academy. Jasiulionis brings a strong European basketball background with an intriguing combination of size, skill, and basketball IQ. At 6’7” and still growing, he can stretch the floor, make plays with the ball, and use his physicality inside. His versatility and ability to adapt to multiple roles make him a 2028 prospect with significant long-term upside.
#4 Quinsean Pritchett (2028) 6’1 guard - From Edgewood, MD, a two-way player who brings toughness, energy, and a relentless motor. A dog on the defensive end, he uses his quickness and basketball IQ to pressure the ball and make opposing guards uncomfortable. Offensively, he’s a strong ball handler who attacks the paint and creates opportunities for himself and his teammates. A smart, unselfish player who consistently makes the right read and impacts winning without needing the ball in his hands. Plays with a foot-on-the-gas mentality and never takes a possession off.
