St. Andrew's School 2026-27 College Prospects

Founded in 1893, St. Andrew's School is an independent, coeducational, non-denominational, college-preparatory boarding and day school, grades 6-12 plus post grad, located on a 100-acre campus in Barrington, RI, a suburb of Providence. Founded 1893 by William Merrick Chapin. Independent, coeducational, college-preparatory boarding and day school, grades 6-12 plus PG, on a 100-acre campus in Bristol County. Non-denominational Christian (formerly Episcopalian). Head of School David Tinagero. The upper school educates 180 students with a 5:1 student-teacher ratio. 

St. Andrew's School competes in the New England Prep School Athletic Council (NEPSAC) Class AA division. Last winning that championship in 2019. Their basketball alumni list is impressive. It includes NBA players, Michael Carter-Williams  (2014 NBA Rookie of the Year). Demetris Nichols (Syracuse and Portland Trailblazers draftee '07)  Cole Swider  (Villanova and Syracuse; Los Angeles Lakers, consensus Top-30 national recruit), Rakim Sanders (Boston College and Fairfield, Golden State Warriors and Hapoel Gilboa Galil -Israel), Ricky Ledo  (Providence '12, Dallas Mavericks and New York Knicks) and Bonzie Colson '14 (Notre Dame, Milwaukee Bucks ). Other high major alums include Terrell Brown '16 (G League), Aaron Wheeler'16 (G League), Brycen Goodine '19 (Syracuse, Providence and Fairfield), Tony Robertson '99 (UConn), and Myles Wilmoth '20 (Butler, Hofstra, Siena College and Canisius). 

The team is coached by Mike Hart. Coach Hart's coaching resume spans four decades. He arrived at St. Andrew's in 1994 and has run the program for over 30 seasons and has won more than 600 games. 600-win milestone. He was inducted into the New England Basketball Hall of Fame in 2019. He is a six-time New England Prep School Coach of the Year and has won seven NEPSAC Championships, three NEPSAC Finals appearances, three SENE titles. Coach Hart has placed over 200 players to college basketball at all levels; including the five above who went onto the NBA.

Chris Blakely Jr. (2027) 6'8, 200lb, small forward- A post grad from West Covina, CA. Blakely is an outstanding all around player. He works hard on both ends; handles the ball extremely well for a kid with size; D1 prospect. Plays club ball with BTI Hoops. Video highlights 

Deion Ellis-Cipriano (2027) 6'3, 180lb guard - A post grad from Bishop Hendricken High (RI), 2025-26 All State Second Team. Ellis-Cipriano is an outstanding all around player. He has scoring prowess and different ways to put the ball in the bucket. He is able to score as an off-ball slasher and can get the ball through tight gaps in the defense to get teammates scoring chances. He also has 3pt range. A tough defender. Elijah McNair (2027) 6’5, 180lb guard - 2025-26 All NEPSAC AA Honorable Mention. From East Providence, RI, McNair is a tough power guard; who is a solid defender and scores in multiple ways. Projected D1 prospect.  NERR profile  PH profile 

Talib Martin (2027) 6'6,180lb wing - 2025-26 All NEPSAC AA. From Brooklyn, NY, Martin is an outstanding 3 level scorer; shoots the 3pt shot well. He is a terrific rebounder and a defensive stopper. Dominic Taylor (2027) 6’2, 180ln guard - From Somerset, MA, Taylor was one of the more dominant players in MIAA D2 this year. He is a three level scorer who doesn't have an offensive weakness. He can athletically finish at the rim—especially for reverse layups—but he also has outstanding deep shooting range. When he's double teamed, Taylor has really solid vision and is a willing and able passer. Led Somerset Berkley (MA) to its first state championship since 1954. Justin Williams (2027) 5’10, 180lbs point guard - From New York, NY, 2025-26 CHSSA A All League Team. Williams is a power guard who controls tempo on offense and defense. He runs the team very well and is a great 3pt shooter. A projected D2 prospect. Plays club ball with Empire Youth Basketball.  RTB profile

Lorcan Bailey Morrows (2028) 6’7, 215lb, wing - Top New England prospect watch list by NE Basketball Journal. From Dublin, Ireland, Bailey Morrows is a physical, but smooth wing forward who runs the floor well. He is an outstanding scorer on all levels especially with 3pt shot. He is also a solid defender and rebounder. Has been offered by Manhattan and is receiving interest from Hofstra, Longwood and Stony Brook.  PH profile

Malachi Odugbela (2028) 6’6, 170lb small forward - From Providence, RI, #3 ranked player in New England by Prep Hoops. Odugbela is an outstanding young prospect. He plays as a tremendous combo guard, and he is a lights-out 3pt shooter. Has been offered by Providence and Marquette. Plays club ball with BABC 16u. NERR profile    PH profile  

Ishmael Odugbela (2029) 6’1, 170lb point guard - 2025-2026 Southeastern New England League Player of the Year as a freshman. Odugbela is a tremendous point guard who excels in the open court and is an outstanding 3pt shooter. He is a solid on ball defender. Projected D1 prospect. Grayson Thomas (2029) 6’5, 170lb, wing - From Greenfield MA, Thomas is an outstanding 3pt shooter and scorer. He has already surpassed scoring 1,000 points in high school career. Projected as a D1 prospect.

Hayden Watson (2029) 7’0, 220lb forward - From London, England, Watson is a traditional big man with outstanding post moves. He can also shoot the 3pt shot. He is a shot blocker and rebounder. Projected D1 prospect.

Tekye Ivey-Jones (2030) 6'5. 170lb small forward - From Pawtucket, RI, Ivey-Jones is an outstanding young player who reminds the St Andrew's coaching staff of their former great Demetris Nichols. He is a tremendous offensive talent and a lock-down defender. Projected as a D1 prospect.
