South Central Prep 2026-27 Post Graduate Player Profiles
South Central Prep (SCP) is a college basketball prep program with a supervised online-schooling arrangement located in a southern suburb of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Their players students are offered elite skills training, athletic strength and performance training, NCAA accredited education, national circuit exposure and scholarship opportunities. SCP's athletes attend Epic Charter School. Epic is Oklahoma's largest virtual charter school, tuition-free and state-funded. So the model is that the players enroll in Epic online, do their coursework under supervision at the SCP facilities and train and play for SCP.
The program was founded in 2024 by Austin Wright, who is both owner and head coach. Wright played at Missouri Southern State University, where he set five shooting records. He started to chase a professional career, but suffered a career-ending injury, so instead, he moved into training others. He first started a basketball training program called A1 Athletics, which is the operation South Central Prep eventually grew out of. Over roughly four years in athlete development he's placed numerous players into college programs and worked with several professional players.
SCP's Post Grad team Head Coach and Director of Operations is Paul Harvey. Coach Harvey has 14 years of experience in Grassroots Basketball. He is currently the General Manager of Adidas 3SSB Team Southern Assault, and the Regional Director of College Athlete Advantage, a recruiting services company. He has built strong relationships with college coaches from every level and works hard to ensure that each of his players find their perfect fit in a college program.
SCP fields three teams, High School National, High School Red and Post Grad. The Post Grad team plays in the Mid America Prep League (all post grad teams) and travels throughout the country to play a schedule that will challenge their players and prepare them for college play. The current college prospects on the 2026-27 Post Grad team are profiled below.
#0 Gunnar Goodnight (2027) 5'10 point guard - From Sapulpa High (OK), Goodnight is a sharpshooter with a touch of flair to his game. Along with the ability to pull from deep range, he can operate in the mid-range and has nice touch on his floater. He delivers good finishes around the rim, and he has the eye for nice passes. #1 Conner Kesler (2027) 6'3 guard - From Roncalli Catholic High (IN) Kesler will make a couple of three-point shots per game, but really excels when using his length and explosiveness to attack the rim off of the dribble. Kesler is a solid under-the-radar prospect for small college programs. PH profile
#2 Averi Edmundson (2027) 5'11point guard - From Jenks High (OK) where he earned All District 6A-4 Honorable Mention. Edmundson is a high energy player who COMPETES, dives on loose balls, attacks mismatches, and is not afraid of COMPETES, dives on loose balls, attacks mismatches, and not afraid to play physical play. #3 TaQuan Young (2027) - From Edison High (OK), Young is an athletic and dynamic slasher. He uses an effective combo of having a good handle and a quick dribble burst to generate deep forays into the paint. PH profile

#5 Preston Tolliver (2027) 6'6 small forward - 2025-26 Indiana Basketball Coaches Association All State honors. From Evansville Reitz High (IN), Tolliver is s a high energy player that impacts the game on both ends. He is coming off a monster high school season at Evansville Reitz showcasing his improved perimeter skills to go along with his excellent motor that makes him a big-time rebounder and defensive presence. #6 Miguel Martinez Garcia (2027) 6'6 wing/forward - Martinez Garcia is an athletic wing who impacts the game on both ends and loves scoring in the midrange. Video highlights
#7 Parker Scott (2027) 5'11point guard - From Texas, Scott brings IQ, pace, and decision making, all the traits that translate immediately to college guard play. He sees the floor well, values possessions, and plays with a maturity that stabilizes lineups. He has the ability to run an offense and make the right read. Plays club ball with Team AB Elite. #24 Shep Newcomb (2027) 6'0 point guard - From Alma High (AK), where Newcomb was one of the top scorers in the state. He has natural scoring ability and great feel for the game. He sees the floor well, values possessions, and plays with a maturity that stabilizes lineups. He has the ability to run an offense and make the right read. PH profile
