Proven Talent Builder Opens a New Chapter in Central Florida

One Way Basketball Institute is a post grad and high school prep basketball program based in Central Florida. It plays its home games at Seminole State College in Sanford, FL. The program also runs a youth development arm, and its motto sums up its approach: “The ONE WAY is… UP!” The emphasis is on steady daily improvement in skill, mindset and character rather than hype or shortcuts.

Founder and head coach Paul Mrozik, a native of Poland who played at Western Nebraska Community College, has developed and placed players on two continents. His Polish Shootout Camp in Warsaw helped more than 40 Polish players reach U.S. colleges. His college coaching résumé includes stops at Valparaiso, Liberty, Cal Poly and Mercer. In the prep world, he built Mountain Mission School (VA) from a program with no tradition into a national top-10 power within four years. Players he has coached and recruited include Flo Thamba (Baylor, Polish Pro League) Oscar Tshiebwe (Kentucky, NBA), Jonathan Kuminga (NBA) and Mateusz Ponitka (EuroLeague). He is assisted by Dorian Sanders and Sam Santana.

One Way is one of five programs in the Showcase Division of the Elite Prep League (EPL) for 2026-27. The Showcase Division teams do not compete in the EPL standings, but are included in the game slate. For college coaches, that puts even more talent in one gym on a given scouting trip.

The rest of the One Way 2026-27 game schedule also gives its players plenty of college scout exposure. It includes the Pre-Season All-American Jamboree in Tavares, FL, the DME Beach & Ball Classic in Daytona Beach, the Sunshine Prep Showcase, the Southeast Showcase in Lincolnton, NC, The Last Stand at The Citadel and the Phenom Prep & Post Grad Nationals in Rock Hill, SC.
