Proctor Academy (NH) 2026-27 Season Preview
Begun in 1848 as a local school for the children of Andover, New Hampshire, Proctor Academy has undergone numerous evolutions enroute to becoming what it is today: a boarding and day school of 370 students serving as a national leader in experiential learning and academic support programs.
Proctor’s boys' varsity basketball team competes in New England Prep School Athletic Council Class B and the elite Lakes Region League, regularly facing top high school talent from across the country. The program is built upon a comprehensive approach to player growth that includes strength and conditioning, film study, sports psychology, and individual skill development. The team is head coached by Ben Bartoldus ’10, and he is assisted by and Chris Allen ’12. Coach Bartoldus is committed to developing teams that play with intelligence and purpose, while equipping players with the tools, habits, and experience needed to succeed at the collegiate level. Former Hornets have gone on to compete at all levels of NCAA basketball across the country.

Ben Cormier (2027) 6’8, 210lb forward, Proctor Academy (NH) - Cormier is a floor spacer that does a great job of knocking down threes in catch and shoot situations. His ability to make shots opens up the floor for his teammates and for his off ball movement, where he's proven to be an instinctive cutter that can finish above the rim in space. On the other end of the floor, he does a nice job of high pointing rebounds and, with his length, is an effective shot blocker both on the ball and when coming from the help side. David Ojesnami (2027) 6’5, 180lb, 6'7 wingspan, small forward, Proctor Academy (NH) - From Lansdale, PA. Ojesnami's high-motor play makes him a constant impact on both ends of the floor. His footwork at the 1st level stands out—he establishes deep position with purpose, finishes through contact, and creates space well. As his offensive game continues to develop, he’s showing promise at the 2nd level, particularly in face-up situations and midrange touches. On the glass, Ojesnami is relentless, securing rebounds in traffic, creating 2nd chance points, and sparking transition opportunities. Defensively, his length and athleticism allow him to play switch coverages. 3.7 gpa
Myles Dehaney (2027) 5'11 guard, Proctor Academy (NH) - 2025-26 All NEPSAC B-Large. From Toronto, Canada, Dehaney is an elite level combo guard who can get it done at all levels. He is a prolific offensive scorer and a serious 3rd level threat (both off the dribble and catch). Dehaney is a savvy defender that occupies shooting pockets and disrupts ball handlers and their rhythm– creating offensive opportunities by doing so. He possesses a high basketball IQ and a relentless engine. He plays with a mature sense of pace, precisely selecting moments to attack, facilitate, and playmaker; often dictating the flow of play with quiet control. Matiok Deng (2027) 6'8 forward, Proctor Academy (NH) - A post graduate from Arch Bishop Carroll (DC). Deng is a versatile, has great athleticism and a high engine. Naturally, Deng is a rim protector, rebounder, and energy guy; however, he has an ever-evolving offensive game at all levels. He finishes above the rim in transition, off lobs, and in traffic. He excels in ball screen actions and has great feel and timing off various concepts. Has some D2 interest at this time and his coaches are confident that he will draw more college attention throughout the 2026-2027 season. Video highlights
Andrew "Drew" Huff (2027) 6'4, 165lb, 6'6 wingspan, guard, Proctor Academy (NH) - From Wilmot, NH. The ‘24-’25 season was a transitional year for Huff as it was his first taste of the NEPSAC and its competitive strength within both Class B and the Lakes Region play. However, he acclimated himself quickly and began showcasing his basketball brilliance, patiently making reads and capitalizing on playmaking opportunities. Huff is crafty at the 1st and 2nd level, utilizing elite level footwork, off-rhythm movements, and his high IQ to throw defenders off balance and into the air. He is a 3rd level threat off the catch and has an evolving 3rd level game off the dribble. As the past season evolved, Huff really became a combo guard, as his handle partners well with his intelligence, executing the offense and making plays. Myke Brown (2028) 5'10, 166lb, 6'0 wingspan, point guard, Proctor Academy (NH) - From Roosevelt, New York, Brown has a natural flow to his game. He is a shifty guard and confident shot-maker at the 3rd level -- deep range. His passion for the game shows in his energy and fearless approach, never shying away from big moments. Massimo Scorza (2029) 6'6, 174lb, 6'6 wing span, forward, Proctor Academy (NH) - From Toronto, Scorza brings with him a rare blend of size, shooting touch, and upside. A strong and confident shooter, Massimo’s offensive foundation is rooted in his ability to space the floor and score from deep, with a smooth release. What truly separates Massimo is his motor—he competes with intent, attacks each workout with focus, and carries a clear hunger to become the best version of himself. His desire to grow, combined with his scoring instincts and frame, give him the tools to evolve into a dynamic offensive weapon at the next level. PH profile
