North Florida Prep 2026-27 Player Profiles
Founded in 2020, North Florida Prep, the Myrmidons*, is a post-graduate men's basketball program headquartered in Jacksonville, FL. The program's stated goal is to prepare student-athletes for the demands of college basketball. It is a post-grad basketball program, not a school. The Myrmidons play a competitive national schedule against college programs, other post-graduate programs, professional teams, and national high schools. Players can spend 10 to 12 hours a day between basketball and continuing their education, and many also work part-time or full-time jobs.
Program founder, Chris Harris is entering his fifth season as head coach. Before he coached, Harris was a nationally ranked player per ESPN, and he played at or was recruited by programs at every level of college basketball, from junior college to Division I. That experience is the foundation of his pitch — he has navigated the highs and lows of recruitment himself, and he trains and mentors his players with professional-grade guidance both in season and through the offseason. Harris began coaching while still playing in college, leading the Fort Pierce Bucs grassroots program. He moved into post-graduate basketball at TLAP Sports Academy (FL). He also coached at Potter's House Christian Academy (FL) and North Florida Educational Institute before founding North Florida Prep.

Prennis Alston (2027) 6'2 guard - From Jacksonville FL, Alston is a basketball Swiss Army Knife in that he does a little bit of everything.
Nathan Asamoah (20270 6'0 point guard - From Canada, Asamoah is twitchy and explosive. He is a pick-pocket and disruptive on defense. He will fill it up on offense. He is shifty and strong in getting downhill in the paint and a tough shot maker in the mid-range to complement his 3 ball shooting.
Ryland Buhl (2027) 6'5 small forward - From Citra FL, Shooter! Buhl is a also a great rebounder. He does all the little things, like takes charges and be the perfect "glue guy". Buhl had great success in North Florida's summer prep program.
John St Jacques (2027) 6'0 point guard - From Orlando FL, St Jacques is shifty and has n explosive first step. He also shoots it very well from 3, both from the catch and off the bounce. He is the fastest player on the roster, and is pesky on defense.
Alex Key (2027) 6’6 forward - From Baton Rouge LA. Key is a rebounding and screen-setting big. He is new to the game of basketball, very raw still but has tons of potential.
Travis Ligene (2027) 6'1 guard - From Orlando FL, Ligene is the team's silent assassin; he doesn't say much, but just works hard and produces.
Ricardo Puddu 6'4 guard - From Italy, Puddu is a strong and athletic player. He has a smooth jumper that he splashes from both the mid-range and from beyond the 3 point arc.
Billy Sidibe (2027) 6’8 forward - From France, Sidibe is a very intriguing prospect. He is versatile and has tons of upside. He has great athleticism and is developing his offensive skill set.
