New Hampton School (NH) 2026-27 Player Profiles
Founded in 1821, New Hampton School is an independent college prep, boarding and day school, with roughly 330 students from over 30 states and 22 countries.
The New Hampton School mens basketball A team plays college prep basketball at the highest level. They compete in the Lakes Region League and the New England Prep School Athletic Council (NEPSAC) AAA division.
The team is coached by Andrew Gale. Gale spent four years with the University of Vermont men's basketball program, working his way from student manager to Graduate Assistant Coach. He also did a stint with Hoop Group. At New Hampton, Gale arrived in 2016 as an assistant coach, then was named head coach in May 2019 after two seasons on staff. Gale has a reputation as a coach for being thoughtful, perceptive, and in tune with the needs of the team and players. In his first year as head coach, they won the 2020 NEPSAC Class AAA Championship beating Brewster Academy in the final. Alex Karaban, was named Player of the Game for that New Hampton championship. Karaban then famously went on to win two national D1 titles with UConn.

Jasper Bias-Derry (2027) 6’7 forward - Bias-Derry is a 5-man that has the skill to play inside in out. Good rebounder. Has good hands to catch in the dunker spot and can make a pick and pop 3. Good post defender that uses his size well. Playing club ball with Mass Rivals-HGSL.
Jean-Pierre Birotte (2027) 6’3 combo guard - Birottee can score in a variety of ways. Good shooter off the catch, will post up smaller defenders, and a good straight-line driver. Defensively, is disruptive in passing lanes and plays angles well. Will not be playing AAU this summer as he recovers from an injury. 3.7 gpa
Niko Christofilis (2027) 6’2 point guard - From Seattle Prep (WA), Christofilis set a single game record there for most assists in a game (16). He has good feel in ball screens and can make high level passes and reads off of advantages. As a scorer he can shoot from deep off the catch or off the dribble. Has a good pull up/ floater game when attacking downhill off of screens. Really fluid mover off the ball on both ends. Playing club ball with Washington Supreme-UAA.
Kasten Eggers (2027) 6’3 guard - A lefty that has a good change of pace. Good at getting downhill in a straight line off of closeouts and has a variety of finishes at the rim. Good shooter with his feet set and can pass as a secondary ball handler. Defensively, he can switch on the perimeter and uses his frame to physically hold his ground on drives. Good rebounder for a guard.
Will Kokotovich (2027) 6’8 center - A 5-man from Australia with good finishing ability at the rim. Has strong feel in crowded spaces and puts a lot of pressure on the rim as a roll man. Strong offensive rebounder and good at carving out space on the block. Good hands to catch bad passes. Runs to the rim hard in transition and can finish above the rim. Defensively, good weakside blocker, and strong defensive rebounder. Has good length to impact the ball in ball screen situations.
Stetson Merritt (2027) 6’3 guard - #3 ranked prospect in New Hampshire by NERR. 2025-26 All NEPSAC AAA Honorable Mention. Merritt is a pure scorer. Really good at getting to his spots and uses change of pace to break people down off the dribble. Good pull up game, capable three point shooter, and has a variety of finishes at the rim. Has taken major steps forward as a facilitator. Can make reads in tight spaces and find open teammates opposite. Uses his long wingspan at the guard position to impact the ball 1 on 1 and then deflections off the ball. Plays club ball with City Rocks EYBL. Temi Olafisoye (2027) 6’7 wing - From Chaminade High (CA), 2025-26 Mission League Second Team. Violent finisher at the rim and is relentless on the glass. Good cutter and has a strong IQ off ball. Effective post scorer on smaller players and skill on the perimeter to attack slower/bigger matchups. Good shooter off the catch. Very good athlete vertically and guard multiple positions. Plays club ball with Oakland Soldiers-EYBL.
Brennan Williams (2027) 6’8 forward - From Bellarmine Prep, San Jose, CA, Williams is physical, explosive and relentless the glass. He adds toughness inside. A good pick and pop forward, but also an effective driver off of closeouts. He can initiate the break off of the rebound as well as a rim running presence. A strong finisher that uses his body to create openings. Plays club ball with BTI-NXT PRO 16. 3.9 gpa Video highlights PH profile
Beau Millar (2028) 6'3 guard - A bigger guard that can space the floor and attack in a straight line. Good shooter off of movement and the catch. Strong body. Does a good job using his body defensively and can play angles well. Good rebounder for his position. Is developing as a secondary ball handler. PH profile
Brandyn Clarke (2029) 6'7 small forward - A native of Canada, Clarke is one of the more impressive athletes in this class. He has great positional size and length, which he uses to his advantage on both ends of the floor, but which shine through in particular on the defensive end of the floor. He can guard all five positions, rebounds it above the rim in traffic, and has the ability to make plays in passing lanes that lead to turnovers. Jett Sizer (2029) 6’0 guard - Sizer is with good a good jumper. Can catch fire from 3 both as a set shooter and a shooter off the move. Still growing as a ball handler and secondary facilitator. Will make simple plays and get others involved. Competes defensively.
