Building in Burlington
Life Center Academy (LCA) was founded in 1975 by an Assemblies of God ministry. It is a Christian, co-ed PreK–12 school on a 61-acre campus in Burlington, New Jersey.
Burlington sits in one of the most basketball-rich corridors in the country. It's 18 miles northeast of Philadelphia and 12 miles southwest of Trenton, with Newark, Atlantic City and New York City all within about 75 miles. Given that location, it's no surprise basketball has become central to the school's national identity. The boys varsity plays a high level schedule against other strong programs in the region such as The Patrick School (NJ), St. Benedict's Prep (NJ), Hun School (NJ), Phelps School (PA), George School (PA), The Episcopal Academy (PA) and Atlantic Christian (NJ). LCA competes in the Penn-Jersey Athletic Association (PJAA). The school also hosts a Nike Basketball Camp on campus every July.
After being the team's assistant coach, Jamil Hawes is now the team's head coach.
