2026-27 Tabor Academy Player Profiles

Tabor Academy, founded in 1876, is a high academic preparatory school located in Marion, MA about 40 miles north of Providence, RI. Tabor is located on Buzzards Bay and is known for its marine science courses, earning itself the moniker "The School by the Sea".

The boys varsity basketball team competes in the Independent School League and the New England Prep School Athletic Council (NEPSAC) Class A division. This gets them facing high college prep competition against future college players. Tabor’s heavy minutes players go on to play in college.

The team is coached by the veteran Scott Willard. Willard’s résumé includes head coaching roles at Tilton School, Christ School, and Miller School of Albemarle and collegiately at Lesley University. At each institution, his teams earned conference championships. His 2026-27 contains attractive college prospects, as profiled below.

Isaac Saas (2027) 6’10, center - An athletic big man that runs the floor hard and defends the rim with his very long wingspan. Solid array of post moves and a nice mid-range game make him a force on the offensive end. Effective shot blocker and rebounder. Saas has improved every single season and has huge upside. He has a big motor, loves protecting the paint, rebounds, and has really worked to build a smooth outside stroke. Plays club ball with New England Storm.  PH profile

Billy Stewart (2027) 6’7, 200lbs, forward - A skilled and strong forward with range and post presence. Runs the floor well and consistently finishes at the rim. Intelligent player with a high motor. Plays club ball with House That We Built.  PH profile

Conor Greaney (2028) 5'10 point guard - Greaney is a tough and fearless guard that plays with the grit and poise of a much more experienced player. On the offensive side of the ball he is a 3-level scorer who is adept at creating opportunities for his teammates and exploiting any advantages. Defensively, Greaney takes pride in frustrating, stifling and disrupting the primary ball handlers and decision makers of the opposition. Plays club ball with Team New England.  PH profile

Cam Frazier (2029) 6'5 small forward - From Duxbury High (MA), Frazier looks to build on his momentum from a strong high school season. He is a consistent perimeter shooter that gets great rotation on his shot. He's got a good frame and does a nice job of using it to his advantage when attacking the rim. He impresses with his instincts as a cutter and ability to play off of his own shot fakes. Defensively, he does a nice job of mixing it up as a rebounder and can guard three positions on the floor. Plays his club ball with Team Sims   PH profile

Jake Lofstrom (2029) 6’2 guard - A strong, athletic combo guard with great lefty shooting stroke. High IQ player, communicates well both ends of the floor. Excellent rebounder at guard position, capable of scoring in bunches. Two sport (football) athlete. Plays club ball with Team Sims-UAA.

Tommy McGovern (2029) 6'6, 7'0 wing span forward - From Marblehead, MA, McGovern, is a really versatile prospect. He is a shot blocker, he also uses his length well by making plays in passing lanes, cleaning up on the glass. Offensively, he has the ability to attack the basket off the bounce and has a variety of finishing moves in the paint.  PH profile

Teddy O’Neill (2029) 6'2 point guard - From Swampscott High (MA), where he earned 2025-26 Northeastern Conference (NEC) All-Conference Team honors as a sophomore. O'Neill is a true point guard with great passing and shooting ability and a knack for playing at his own pace and using craft in the paint. Played club ball with Team Sims where he earned All UAA Rise 16u Second Team honors, playing up a grade.  PH profile

Rayan Taku (2029) 6’6, small forward - Taku is ridiculously intriguing. The rising sophomore is extremely strong for his size, and he also has solid vertical athleticism and really good coordination and hands. He can make shots from the outside, he can drive closeouts, and he has good footwork and feel at the rim (an impressive handle, too, for his size and age). Taku was a standout for Malden Catholic (MA). Projected to make an immediate impact for Tabor.  PH profile
