2025-26 Our Saviour Lutheran Prep Player Profiles

Our Saviour Lutheran High School is a private, co-educational school located in Morris Park, Bronx. Its high school was established in 1955. In basketball, under coach Peter Wehye, they have created a tremendous college prep program. This year they are running five teams. Wehye head coaches the top team, that competes in the Overtime Elite League and the Big Six conference with other nationally renowned programs. He sets the values and culture for all five teams.

The OSL Prep (post grad) team is again being head coached by Ray Warren. He is being assisted by Mario Jimenez, Dylan Santos and Daijuan Perez. Their team will again be competing in the AAA Division of the Power 5 Conference and the Great Atlantic Conference.

Jaydan Almonor (2026) 6-7 forward - Almonor is a stretch 4 that can bang inside and guard 5s but can also play the wing and stretch the defense with his long-range shooting. He has received multiple D1 offers, including Fairleigh Dickenson, Felician University and Dominican University.  RTB profile

Kaelin "Duece" Destine (2026) 6'0 guard - (committed to Youngstown State in October) - Destine is very crafty with the basketball, Kaelen is a 3 level scorer that can create his own shot from anywhere on the floor. His sharp change of direction and speed allow him to be a high level playmaker.    RTB profile

Ibrahim Djane (2026) 6’5 - Athletic wing, that can put the ball on the floor and get to the rim at will. Ibrahims athleticism makes him a lob threat and a rim protector. Ibrahim takes pride on defense, he will guard 1-4 on any given night.  RTB profile

Derrick "Bam" Florence III (2026) 6'6 wing - A do-it-all wing. He can put the ball on the floor and create his own shot, space the floor with his outside shooting and also create for others. On the defensive end he can guard 1-5. Florence brings natural tenacity and leadership that can help any team win. At the D1 level he will be an instant rotational player. Has received multiple D1 offers, including Old Dominion, Florida Atlantic, Manhattan, Jacksonville State,University of Texas-San Antonio, University of Louisiana at Lafayette and the University of New Orleans.   RTB profile

Zion Porter (2026) 6’6 shooting guard - Porter is a shooting specialist. He can be an instant impact player at the next level because he possesses the ability to stretch the defense with his 3pt shooting.

Lionel "LJ" Saunders (2026) 6’3 guard - Saunders is a big guard that can play 1-3. He likes to use his big frame to get to his spots in the paint. He has the ability to knock down the long 3 as well as playing above the rim in the open court. Receiving interest from Fairleigh Dickenson, Manhattan, Colombia, Boston University and Wagner College.  RTB profile

Jackson Southerland (2026) 6'3 guard -   Southerland loves to play make for others. Another strength is his outside shooting and his midrange game.      RTB profile

Zyaire Stewart (2026) 6’1 guard - Stewart brings intensity on defense.

Jacob Evans (2027) 6’2 point guard - Evans is a defensive specialist point guard that will pick up for the entire 90 feet. On offense, he is effective in bullying his way into the paint and by playing off two feet.   RTB profile
