Williston North Hampton School Reloads to Repeat as NEPSAC Champs

The Williston Northampton School is located in Easthampton, MA. It was founded as Williston Seminary in 1841 by Samuel Williston, a successful industrialist committed to education. The school merged with the Northampton School for Girls in 1971 to become the co-educational Williston Northampton School, a private boarding and day school for grades 9 through post grad.

Their mens basketball team is a college basketball feeder program. The team has enjoyed tremendous success over the years. It vies annually for a seed in the New England Prep School Athletic Council (NEPSAC) Class A tournament. They have made it to the NEPSAC Class A championship game four times since 2015, winning the title in 2015, 2016 and last year. The core of the team is usually made up of boys who participate in the program for more than one year, complemented by a small group of post-graduates.

The team's 2025-26 game schedule and results will be found here.

The team is head coached by Ben Farmer. Coach Farmer is a former D1 player, as well as an assistant at Wesleyan University and the University of Hartford. He completed a post grad year at St Thomas More for Coach Jere Quinn, before playing for Marist College.

The Williston 2025-26 roster is again stocked with the college prospects as profiled below.

Colby Hurlock (2026) 6’0 guard - Hurlock is the most improved player in the program over the year. He is improving as an on-ball creator, knockdown catch and shoot driller. He is a great teammate. High academic D3 prospect. Plays AAU with Project Triple Threat. 3.7 gpa  Video highlights    RTB profile

Max Kellogg (2027) 6'2 guard - A long and lean scorer, Kellogg does a great job of utilizing his length to create separation. He’s confident with the ball in his hands and does a good job of changing direction off the bounce. Off the ball, he does a good job of continuing to move and utilize screens and does his work early to get his feet set. On the defensive end of the floor, he’s often in the right spot at the right time, and thus, creates a lot of turnovers and deflections. He should have a bigger role this winter and could solidify himself as one of the top combo guards in New England.  PH profile

Kyle Seltzer (2027) 6'10 forward, Williston Northampton School (MA) - A 4 Star rated prospect. #9th ranked center in the nation by ESPN. Seltzer's touch around the rim and footwork is phenomenal for his age. He also has a pure shooting stroke. A great teammate of high character. 3.8 gpa Offered by Siena. Plays AAU ball with BABC. 4.0 gpa   RTB profile

Kingsley Rogers (2028) 6'5 guard - 2025 All MADE Hoops Circuit 16u 1st Team. Rogers is a smooth scoring guard who can find the rim in a plethora of ways. His size is imposing on the perimeter and has no issue shooting over defenders. He is effective getting to spots in the mid-range. Rogers uses his long limbs to create second chance scoring efforts. He was one of the most productive prospects at the 16u level of the MADE Hoops Circuit. Plays AAU with Rising Stars.  PH profile  RTB profile

Khyren Jones (2028) 6’5, 230 lb forward/center - From New Haven, CT. Jones was impactful as a freshman on last year’s team.  He is only 15 years old and just scratching the surface of his huge upside. He will be looking to add more layers to his game in his sophomore season. An elite competitor.

Will Zhou (2028) 6’3 guard - From Beijing, China, Zhou who played meaningful minutes on last year’s championship team as a freshman. He is a lights-out shooter and looking to make a big jump in his sophomore campaign. Plays for 16u Chinese National Team this summer. Great positional size.
