TPLS Christian Academy, The Gospel of Good Shooting

TPLS Christian Academy (TPLS) is located in Henrico, VA about 19 miles northeast from Richmond. It is an intensive nine month post grad program consists of academics, training, and competitive play. The goal is to prepare student-athletes for playing college basketball and to also prepare them for success in life. TPLS provides their students with the tools and resources they need to be successful both in the classroom, on the court as well as providing a strong Christian environment to promote spiritual growth.  The school's name, where "Christian Academy" is preceded by "TPLS" captures the vibe. As TPLS stands for "Three Point Line School". 

Damon Silvestro is the head coach for the Post Graduate men's basketball program. Coach Silvestro has an extensive background in college coaching and player development. He's a respected figure in basketball, having coached at Richard Bland College and Colonial Heights Public Schools, and he runs his own training and recruiting programs.

#0 Jacob Hudson (2026) 6’0 point guard - From Broken Arrow, OK, Hudson has an explosive first step and he finishes well in the lane or creates for others. He also is an elite perimeter defender.

#1 Tahn Bustamante (2026) 6’7 forward - From Fredericksburg, VA, Bustamante is a knockdown shooter and runs the floor really well. He is also a solid rebounder and rim protector.

#2 Joaquin Harley (2026) 5’10 point guard - From Richmond, VA, Harley is a natural leader. He brings the playmaking that playing off 2 feet creates. He is a good midrange shooter and a scrappy defender.

#3 Sam Mitchell (2026) 6’2 guard - From Petersburg, VA, Mitchell is an elite shooter. That skill eventually brings the hard close-outs from the opposing defenders, which he then exploits by blowing past them into the lane to make plays.

#4 Charles Pargo (2026) 6’5 wing - From Manassas, VA, Pargo creates a mismatch issue for opposing teams. He is so athletic that he can play and guard multiple positions to his advantage. He is good at getting in the lane, and he rim protects well for size.

#5 Omari Thorpe (2026) 6’0 guard - From Midlothian, VA, Thorpe is good shooter and a 3 level scorer. On defense he is both scrappy and vocal. 

#10 Lamar Walters (2026) 6’1guard - From Richmond, VA, Walters plays with great pace. He shoots the ball well from mid-range. He is a good perimeter defender.

#13 Achebe Thompson (2026) 6’4 guard - From Los Angeles, CA, Thompson is a big guard that is a great midrange shooter. He gets to his spots well, and he rebounds well from perimeter. 

#14 Domenic Prince-Lasicki (2026) 6’4 guard - From Endicott, NY,  Prince-Lasicki is good 3 point shooter, a hustle guy, and he rebounds well.

#24 Amani Gipson (2026) 6’5 small forward - From Fredericksburg, VA, Gipson is an elite athlete. He has a nice touch around the rim. He can rim protect, runs the floor and rebounds well.
