NEPrepBasketball.net Adds New Jersey Open Division Teams
Starting this 2025-26 season, NEPrepBasketball.net will be expanding its results and standings coverage to include the New Jersey Open Prep Teams.
New Jersey basketball runs a postseason tournament drawing the participants from the top prep school programs in the state. See a listing of those teams below.
Schedules permitting, the teams attempt to all play each other during the regular season to help enable the tournament seeding committee do a fair job in seeding the post season tournament in March.
Last year, the regular season ended in a three way tie between College Achieve-Asbury Park, St Patricks School and Blair Academy. Blair ended up prevailing in the tournament championship as part of a season that ended with them being computer-ranked as the #9 team in the nation.
