Expressions Prep Post Grad 2026-27 Player Profiles
The Expression Prep Post Grad Basketball Program (Ex Prep) is a postgraduate developmental program built to move motivated student-athletes into college basketball. Operating out of Huntington, WV, it runs on a college-style daily structure - training, classroom work, competition and accountability - with the stated aim of developing players into more successful college student-athletes. Ex Prep's motto: "We don't chase talent. We develop it. We don't run from pressure. We are the pressure."
Ex Prep fills its schedule with national showcases, elite tournaments and high-level matchups, which serve the dual purpose of exposure and live preparation for what college rosters demand. Coaching is individualized by position, by the player's goals and by his longer-term plan. Now entering its 10th year, Ex Prep reports a college placement rate above 90%.
The Ex Prep teams are now playing in a new facility, the Chatterton-Black EX Dome, a full basketball arena which can seat up to 1,000 spectators.
Expressions Prep won the Ohio Prep Conference last year. This year they will be running two post grad teams, Ex Prep Post Grad United and Ex Prep Post Grad National. Both teams be competing in the new Grind Session Post Grad league this year.
Both teams are head coached by the prep ball veteran Stacy Shannon. Coach Shannon also founded the Garner Road WV AAU basketball club, which has helped 130 young men get onto college rosters.
The programs 2026-27 rosters will include the college prospects profiled below.
Ofek Amar (2027) 6’10 power forward - Ofek it’s a big and strong body who has a soft touch around the rim. He brings good footwork and knows how to play for the power position. He sets a heavy screens, and then makes a strong roll to get open for the score.
Colt Ashton (2027) 6’8 power forward - Colt is an absolute punisher in the middle, so very strong. He can also cause the opponent ‘s rim protector to vacate his post, because Ashton will step out and make shots if he doesn’t.
Tristan Chan (2027) 6’4 shooting guard - Chan is a knockdown shooter, shooting last year 43% from deep. He has a high IQ and plays hard. He is a very gritty with kid that would be a tough cover at the Ivy League level. 4.4 gpa 1400 SAT
Noam Furmanov (2027) 6’6 shooting guard - Furmanoz is super bouncy and can play the two through four. He is very explosive off of the dribble, and he can shoot it.
Dom Gonzales (2027) 6’2 point guard - Gonzales is a floor commander can shoot the ball a high clip. He has the ball on a string. Gonzales plays hard with a very very high IQ. He gets people open with how his dribble and how he attacks the paint.
Zay Hall (2027) 6’0 point guard - Hall is a very very athletic point guard. He is very shifty and can get to any spot on the court to shoot it. His terrific vertical lift gets his elbows to the rim…as a 6 foot point guard.
Qualin Lollis (2027) 6’9 wing - Lollis is long, very shifty and very bouncy. He can shoot the ball. He can play the two through five positions, and accordingly, is a great switch option in defending the pick-n-roll.
Alex Pagidas (2027) 6’7 wing - Pagidas is very smart and can shoot. He is a a glue player that makes everybody around him better. His teams can run their offense through him as a point forward.
Ismail Rahman (2027) 6’8 wing/power forward - Rahman is a very athletic above the rim player. He can also shoot it from deep. He has great instincts, and he handles the ball well for his height.
Ace Simon (2027) 6’6 shooting guard - Simon is a really big shooting guard. He is very crafty, very bouncy and can shoot it. He is twitchy and fast. He is very active on defense and gets boards offensively.
