Crown City Prep Enters Third Season Under Tevin Bracey

Crown City Prep, an Atlanta-based post-graduate basketball and development program, enters its third season under founder and head coach Tevin Bracey. Established in 2024, the program was built for unsigned seniors, reclassified student-athletes and prospects who need another year to develop before moving on to college basketball. This season it will be working in a partnership with New Faith Christian Academy, co-ed private school in metro Atlanta.

The program's philosophy is "Everybody's path is different. A post-graduate year is not falling behind - it is an opportunity to create your own lane."

Bracey is a Bronx native who played point guard at Westchester Community College, where he was voted to the NJCAA Region XV Division I All-Region First Team in 2012., a JUCO All-American who led the nation in assists. He has more than five years coaching post-graduate basketball.

He is joined on staff by Rick Mabry, Rashaad Carruth, a University of Kentucky alumnus and former high school All-American and strength and conditioning coach Rodney Hogans.

The program is built around individual development plans tailored to each player's position, physical needs and long-term goals. Crown City provides strength and conditioning, speed and agility work, highlight-film assistance, direct communication with college coaches, NCAA, NAIA and JUCO recruiting guidance, academic support, mentorship and life-skills training. Housing and meal-plan options are available, along with team travel and hotel accommodations, within a structured college-style daily schedule. 

Crown City competes against prep school, post-graduate and junior college opposition, with a schedule that has included competition and exposure tied to The Grind Session, the Elite Prep League, Big Shots tournaments, JUCO jamborees, national prep showcases and college team camps.

Alumni from the program's first two years include King Saunders (Texas State University), Hugo Facorat (France), Donald McMillian (Clarendon College, a Texas JUCO) and Kendall Booker (Dynamic Preparatory) and Kion Danso's (undeclared).

Ahlijah Davis (2027) 6'3 guard - From Pebblebrook High (GA), Davis takes pride in his defense, leadership, and ability to control the game. His high school coach's nickname  for him was "The Harassment" because of his on-ball pressure and defensive intensity.He focuses on making the right plays, and he is quick with the ball and has a tight handle.  2.5 gpa  Video highlights
